A sort of aerial view portrait of Manhattan with Brooklyn below, Jersey/the rest on top. The blue is the East River and the Hudson. At the time when I painted this, I used to take the Path to the WTC station for work each day. The train was still going through an open pit of clean-up and construction after 9/11, and I felt compelled to paint something connected to the area that September 2007. – – – – – –
